Dr. Josephine Wong

Dr. Josephine Wong, BSc, DVM, AVCA/ACCC

Veterinarian

Dr. Jo was born and raised in Edmonton, and during her U of A undergraduate degree, she studied abroad for a period in Melbourne Australia. She soon returned to 'the land down under' to complete her veterinary degree at the University of Melbourne at the end of 2015. As much as she enjoyed the lifestyle and her friends in Australia, she actually missed the great white north, so she moved to Canada in late 2018.

Dr. Jo has come a long way; from treating wildlife in Australia, to spaying dogs in Borneo, doing a short practicum at the LA Zoo, working for a mobile large animal/cattle practice, and now more recently has decided to hone in on her small animal skills. She also obtained her AVCA/ACCC certification for practicing animal manual therapy/joint mobilization in 2022.

In Jo's spare times she enjoys being active and the outdoors; obstacle racing on horseback, hiking, climbing, biking and would also like to take up pottery again. She loves meeting and helping the great array of friendly clients and their beloved pets.

Lynn Jarvis, Registered Veterinary Technologist

She has special interests in emergency and surgical care and is passionate about providing skilled, compassionate support to both patients and the people who love them.

When she isn't in the clinic, you can usually find her hiking trails in the mountains with her 2 dogs, enjoying a horseback ride, squeezing in a round of golf or travelling and exploring new places.

Whether at work or outdoors, she's happiest when she's moving, learning, and surrounded by animals.
